cheer up and dry your damp eyes *tell me when it rains* Olivia pulled her sunglasses off the bridge of her nose and pushed them on top of her head. She surveyed the map in front of her with interest. The map wasn’t really necessary, she knew this mall like she knew Shakespeare’s plays, but she liked to look at when she didn’t know what she wanted to shop for. The neat rows of stores listed out made it easy to decide where to go. Although Liv could have just strolled through the mall until a store caught her eye, she liked having a plan. It made things so much simpler. After a few moments of thoughtful consideration O took her sunglasses off her head, stuck them in her bag and started walking towards one of the many department stores. She liked going to them because there were clothes, shoes, jewelry, and purses all in one place.
On her way there, she passed the food court. Normally, she waited to go to the food court until she had been to a couple of stores, but today, because she’d skipped breakfast, she decided to go there first. After getting a giant piece of pepperoni pizza and a coke she looked around for a table to sit at. Olivia had no problem sitting alone, people-watching was just one of those things that was more fun when you were alone, but all the good tables were taken. Her favorite one by the sushi place was crowded over with a gaggle of giggling girls. Another good one, the one close to the carousel, was being held by a family full of crying babies. And the table near the cookie shop, this one actually had her initials carved into it, was overtaken by a googly-eyed couple.
Liv sighed and made the decision to go the patio outside. If there weren’t any good tables inside, then she’d just find a great table outside. It was a good thing it wasn’t raining. With one last forlorn glance to the occupied tables Olivia started making her way to the door that led outside, and tripped and fell flat on her face.

Alexandra needed a shopping day, and badly, her one's georgous deep purple and green hightops, were no more, they had been eaten, by her bed, and never gound again. So decked out in a purple and black mini skirt, long sleeved black shirt, knee high boots, and a black and purple beanie atop her head, with her hair waving out from it, she was strolling through the mall, lost as could be. Yes, she had been many times before, but she had to much sugar that morning before coming, and had went skipping in a random direction, which happened to be opposite of the shoe stores.
As the glanced around, she couldn't help but spot the food court, and feel her stomach rumble, yes, she had a breakfast, but not the best, two donuts and a vanilla iced coffee, the reason she was so hyper, and the reason she was also so hungry. She grinned and skipped over to it, and then frowned, the place was so crowded! She sighed and decided to let it clear out, before journeying to her favorite food place, which seemed to be so busy with all these people, even all the table's were full! Was it that people decided to go shopping on the day she was ever so hungry, and needed new shoe's? She woul never know!
She had started to the patio instead, trying not to be ran into by any person taller, bigger, and scarier then her, yes, she knew how to fight if someone tried to hurt her, but she rather not on an empty stomach. As she hlanced around, she looked just in time to see a girl fall flat on her face, and cringed, that had to hurt, badly. She slipped through some tables and crouched down by her, and said," Hey, you OK? That so had to hurt, a lot." Having her head tilted to the side in a questioning manner, then she stood and put her hand down and said," Need some help up?"

cheer up and dry your damp eyes *tell me when it rains* Olivia was horribly embarrassed. It was like that time, back in seventh grade, when Lilly Harrow kissed Johnny Collins and he laughed in her face. Only this time Olivia was Lilly and the floor was Johnny. "Oh, you know, it hurt about as much as running into a concrete wall would." Even though Liv was embarrassed, she'd never show it. She had too much pride to admit that she was nervous, scared, or upset to anyone but herself. "Yeah, thanks." She took the girl's hand, but quickly let go once she was back on her feet. Liv made a silent thanks to the powers-that-be that she hadn't inherited the blushing gene, otherwise she'd be as red as a tomato by now.
What had she tripped on anyway? As discreetly as she could, Olivia looked down. After a few moments of furtive glances, she spotted it. A, now slightly dented, McDonald's cup. Curse all the drinkers of coke! Liv looked back up, and at the girl who had helped her up. She was wearing a combination of purple and black that, O had to admit, was very sheik together. "Where did you get your boots? I just love them." Even though he was a bit wary of her being here, Olivia's father gave her a generous allowance to spend on whatever she wanted. So she came to the mall quite a lot, but she could hardly say she'd been in every store. Which was why she was asking in the first place.
It occurred to Olivia that she hadn't asked the girl's name or told the girl her name. "Oh, by the way, my name is Olivia O'Brian." Liv figured she didn't need to ask what her name was, she'd say it eventually. Maybe she went to Miarell. Her dramatic outfit made O wonder if she was an actress or dancer, though she could have been a singer or musician; you could never really tell with looks these days. "Do you go to Miarell Academy?" Olivia decided not to wait for her to say something, she was never very patient anyway. "I go there, for acting."

Alexandra blinked, then grinning, said," I bough them from a store in this very mall! They were a lot of money though, like two hundread. I was actually heading to the same store, to buy new high tops, maybe more boots." Then just shrugged, she still needed new high tops, maybe knee highs if they had them in store. She laughed and said," Neither the floor nor a brick wall are very soft, my face has said hi to both many times that its funny."
She shrugged again, she good be very uncordinated, and fall in flip flops at times. She glanced around, was the place clearing out yet? She was still incredibly hungry, but not starving yet. She looked back at the girl as she said her name, and replied," Names Alexandra King, nice to meet you." Nodding at her, she glanced around, what was with people today, were they blind, or were they just rude? Someone falls down, or gets hurt, you just step over them like they were a huge rock? What happened to curtisy, and staying home and letting the teenagers have fun at the mall!
She nodded once, then said," Yeah, i go to Miarell, I'm a musician, and also a singer, but more the first then second. How long have you been acting?" Acting seemed rather fun, you got to be someone else, but she knew it was also a lot of work, she had been in a few plays while she were younger, and she had felt like she were worked to death.

cheer up and dry your damp eyes *tell me when it rains* "Mind if I tag along?" Olivia asked, while ignoring the comment about money. She did in fact have a lot of money, a lot, due to her father giving her a large allowance. She didn't want to explain the story, and didn't even know how to respond to things about money without sounding like a snob, so she just skipped it all together. "But if you do, just give me the name of the store and I can find it on my own." Liv didn't yet know if this girl was the type that liked to shop alone or enjoyed company, she herself preferred having someone along to give second opinions.
"I know right! It's, like, one minute you're completely balanced, then the next you and the floor are having an intimate conversation." Olivia brushed some hair out of her face before continuing. "Not to mention the bruises you end up with after wards." Liv rolled her eyes. She wasn't a huge klutz, but she was no stranger to tripping at the wrong time, like just now for instance. For her it was just a matter of bad luck and timing, but she knew that it was piratically a talent for other people; tripping and falling that it is. Some people could trip over there own feet! At least Olivia had the comfort of knowing that it was because of a discarded cup that had caused her wipe-out and not her own two feet.
Liv had always pictured musicians as those annoying people who played on street corners for money. As far as she could tell though, this girl didn't fit the bill. "Since I was ten. I played Ramona in Ramona the Pest." Olivia smiled, a little wistfully, a the thought of that play. It held a special place in her heart, being the one and only play her mother had seen her act in. "How long have you been singing and playing music?" Having absolutely zero rhythm had put a damper on her musical career so she couldn't play any instruments, and not being able to hold a note was her excuse for not singing. All in all, acting was really her only talent.
